Tom Yam Goong

A signature dish inspired by Thailand - Tom Yam Goong for tom yam lovers! For those who prefer milk in their tom yam soups, transform clear soup to a creamy one by simply adding fragrant coconut milk!

Ingredients & Method

  • 1 KNORR TOM YAM CUBE
  • 650ml Water
  • 250g Prawns (de-shelled)
  • 185g Straw Mushroom
  • 80ml Lime Juice
  • 20ml Fish Sauce
  • 20g Shallots (sliced)
  • 20g Clove Garlics (chopped)
  • 3 Kaffir Lime Leaves
  • 3 thin slices of Galangal
  • 2 stalks of Lemon Grass
  • 2 Green Chilli Padi
  • 2 stalks of Coriander Leaves
  • Boil water with KNORR TOM YAM CUBE to obtain a clear tom yam stock.
  • Add garlic, lime leaves, galangal, fish sauce, lemongrass and coriander root. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add prawns and straw mushroom.
  • Pour soup into a bowl and add lime juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and shallots.
